dbMotion Achieves Certifications at Annual Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) Connectathon
Further demonstrates the company’s commitment to standards-based interoperability solutions

Pittsburgh, Pa., January 26, 2010 — dbMotion, a provider of health interoperability solutions, today announced it successfully completed interoperability testing at the 11th Annual IHE North American Connectathon in Chicago.
Billed as the healthcare IT industry`s only large-scale interoperability testing event, IHE Connectathon provides a unique opportunity for connectivity testing by removing common integration barriers. During the event, dbMotion exchanged information with complementary systems from more than 20 vendors – performing all of the transactions required for the selected roles (IHE Actors) in support of defined clinical use cases (IHE Profiles).
dbMotion received certification for the following IHE Profiles:
• XDS.b (Cross Enterprise Document Sharing) in the following IHE Actors: Document Registry, Document Repository, and Document Consumer;
• XDS-I.b (Cross Enterprise Document Sharing for Imaging) in the following IHE Actors: Document Registry and Document Repository;
• Consistent Time (CT) in the Time Client IHE Actor; and
• Audit Trail and Node Authentication (ATNA) in the Secure Node IHE Actor.
dbMotion’s health interoperability solution enables healthcare organizations and health information exchanges (HIEs) to meaningfully integrate and leverage their information assets by placing an integrated patient record within clinician workflows. As a result, information gaps are closed between caregivers, leading to enhanced decision making and driving improvements in the quality and efficiency of patient care.
